Adrian McCarroll
Managing Director
Adrian established Original Vision in 1992 and has over twenty seven years of experience working as an architect in Asia. He has overseen the company grow and establish an international reputation for itself in high quality residential and resort hospitality sectors. Adrian is actively involved in all projects and creates a close working relationship between our Hong Kong and Phuket offices. His attention to detail and innovative designs are synonymous hallmarks of the practice. Adrian is a member of both the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) and the Hong Kong Institute of Architects (HKIA). He is a leading figure and spokesperson within the areas of multi-use resort master planning and is a regular speaker at industry conferences and events.
Stephen GORTON
Director
Stephen is the Director in charge of our Phuket studio in Thailand where he has been based for the past ten years. His extensive experience in masterplanning, design, production information, consultant coordination and project management combined with his personal approach with clients has enabled us to be very successful within an otherwise difficult business environment. Prior to joining Original Vision he worked at Director level for six years on a broad range of resort projects in the Caribbean. Stephen is a graduate from UCE in the U.K and is a member of the Royal Institute of British Architects. (RIBA)
Ken LEUNG
Director
Ken is the Director in charge of Interior Design and has been instrumental in positioning Original Vision in the forefront of this field. In the demanding world of bespoke family homes, he has carved out a reputation for superb design and attention to detail. He is also project leader for a broad range of resort and hospitality projects throughout the region capitalizing on his vast project experience gained in Hong Kong, Macau and China. Ken is a graduate from the Hong Kong University and is based in our Hong Kong office.
Derek MURPHY
Director
Derek is our Director leading the Architectural team in Hong Kong. With over 20 years experience and having previously established his own successful private practice, he is now instrumental in enhancing and streamlining our design and production operations. He has particular strengths in concept design and the integration between sustainability strategies and architectural excellence. He is a certified HK BEAM Professional and oversees the implimentation of our environmental policies in our projects. Derek is a graduate from OxfordBrookesUniversity in the U.K and is a member of the Royal Institute of Architects of Ireland. (RIAI)
Jamie JAMIESON
Associate Director
As an Associate Director, Jamie is invaluable as our principal project team leader in Thailand. His international experience from working in London and Singapore was instrumental in producing meticulously and beautifully detailed projects on carefully executed sites such as Sava, Casaurina Shores and Alanna. Most notable to date was his direct involvement in our multiple award winning project, Villa Amanzi. Jamie is a graduate of WITS university in South Africa and is a member of the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA)
Prasert CHANHOM
Associate Director
Prasert has been with Original Vision since we first set up our Thai operations in 2000. He has extensive knowledge and experience in a broad range of projects and is our leading advisor in relation to Local Authority and Government liaisons and in the coordination and submissions process. His expert regulatory knowledge within the hospitality and residential sectors has enabled the Phuket studio to grow from strength to strength. Prasert is a licenced Architect in Thailand and is a member of the Association of Siam Architects (ASA).
